Berani Berkarya: Platform for Student Showcases
As the lead UI/UX designer, I played a central role in designing and developing Berani Berkarya, a platform that showcases creative works by students in our group. The platform was created to highlight student projects, including animations and games, in an engaging, accessible format. Berani Berkarya provides a space where students can express their creativity, collaborate, and share their work with a broader audience.
Core Problem:
Students often lack an accessible, dedicated platform to display their creative projects, such as animations and games, especially in a way that is user-friendly and visually appealing. Our challenge was to design a website that provides this platform with a welcoming interface that’s easy to navigate while reflecting the vibrancy and originality of student creations.
Content:
Created a simple yet modern layout that showcases student projects without overwhelming users, making navigation intuitive and enjoyable.
Used bright and dynamic colors, along with minimalist elements, to maintain a professional but engaging look and feel.
Highlighting Creative Content:
Designed dedicated sections for animations and games, with easy access to each project.
Included interactive previews for animations and games to provide users with an engaging experience while browsing student creations.
Seamless User Experience:
Developed smooth navigation and interactive elements to enhance the user experience and ensure the platform is accessible to a wide audience.
Integrated filtering options to help users quickly find specific types of creative content based on categories or genres.
Community Engagement:
Built features that allow users to like, comment on, and share student projects, fostering a supportive and interactive community.
Added social sharing options to help students promote their work beyond the platform.
Responsive Design:
Ensured the platform was responsive and visually appealing across different devices, including desktops, tablets, and mobile phones.
Business Outcome:
Berani Berkarya has successfully served as a showcase platform for student creativity, allowing them to present their projects to peers, teachers, and the wider school community. The user-friendly design has made it popular among students and faculty, fostering a culture of creative expression and collaboration. By creating a well-designed, functional platform, I helped provide a valuable resource that encourages students to take pride in and share their creative accomplishments.
